Jason Gould is a dedicated advocate for individuals and families whose lives have been disrupted by the negligence or carelessness of others. Jason earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan – Dearborn (“Go Blue!”) before continuing his education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor. He began his legal career on the defense side of the bar, where he spent years handling a broad range of insurance defense matters on behalf of major carriers and their insureds. During that time, Jason gained extensive courtroom experience and developed a sophisticated understanding of how insurance companies investigate claims, evaluate damages, build their defenses, and decide which cases to settle and which to try.

That insider perspective has become one of Jason's most valuable assets. He knows the strategies the other side will employ before they employ them, and he uses that knowledge to anticipate defenses, strengthen his clients' positions, and maximize the value of every claim he handles. After years on the defense side, Jason made the deliberate decision to transition his practice to plaintiff-side personal injury work because he felt a stronger calling to advocate directly for the injured — for the people who, through no fault of their own, are suddenly facing mounting medical bills, lost wages, and a long road to recovery while an insurance company works to minimize what they are owed. Representing injured victims is where his skills, his experience, and his sense of purpose align.

Jason approaches every case with thorough preparation, attention to detail, and a willingness to take matters to trial when an insurance company refuses to offer fair value.

Outside of the office, Jason enjoys spending time with family, traveling, golfing, and rooting for his hometown Detroit sports teams.
