Alex Campbell joined Southwest Trial Lawyers after spending almost 20 years defending personal injury and insurance claims for major insurance carriers and insured clients across Arizona. His experience includes taking and defending thousands of depositions, participating in hundreds of compulsory arbitration hearings, handling several high/low binding arbitrations, and trying multiple cases in Maricopa County Superior Court and in the Justice Court system. In addition to his litigation work, Alex has mentored younger attorneys, served as a litigation skills instructor for attorneys nationwide, and participated in operational and litigation training initiatives within one of the country’s largest insurance defense networks. His reputation is built on preparation, professionalism, and practical courtroom experience.

Having spent years inside the insurance defense system, Alex has valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate claims, value cases, defend cases, assess credibility, analyze risk, and make settlement decisions. Alex now uses that experience to advocate for individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others.

In 2002, Alex earned his undergraduate degree (B.B.A. – Marketing) from Texas Christian University. In 2006, he obtained his juris doctorate degree (J.D.) from The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. He is licensed to practice in all Arizona Courts. Alex is an Arizona native and second-generation lawyer. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, working out, watching movies, watching sports, and all things food related.
